Transport Planner/Driver’s Debrief - Stafford Depot

Monday to Friday 9am - 6pm

11am – 8pm (1 week in 4)

In this role, you will work closely with and develop a good working relationship with the existing transport and driver teams.

You will be responsible for the accurate and cost-effective planning of delivery and collection vehicles. Inputting of customer consignments and assisting in the day-to-day activities of the depot.

Responsibilities:

• Planning and routing geographical areas within your direct responsibility
• Input of customer consignments
• Customer service
• Allocation of driver paperwork
• Accurate documentation management
• De-briefing drivers, and processing paperwork and delivery/collection notes.
• Ensure health and safety and quality process compliance

Qualifications and Experience:

• Computer literate
• Good geographical knowledge
• Excellent communication skills
• Ability to work in a fast paced, busy environment.
• Works well in a team
