Commitment to reducing energy consumption

Stan Robinson company strategy includes significant focus on reducing our energy usage, we recognise that climate change results in heat waves, drought, higher sea level, abnormal weather patterns and a greater likelihood of natural disasters, minimising our energy consumption will reduce the demand for fossil fuels and, in turn, lower the levels of carbon dioxide in the atmosphere.

 

We have focused on improving energy efficiency and reducing carbon emissions by replacing non LED lighting with LED lighting in all office and Warehouse areas throughout all four depots. This is coupled with focus on energy optimisation through management, live analysis and monitoring of remote energy assets and facilities.

 

The electrical energy efficiency benefits has resulted in kgCO2e savings of 22% average across all depots. (Period assessed July 2022 compared against July 2021).
